This reporter has been made aware of a recent escalation between two known organisations within the city: The Lost M.C. and The Royals.
It is understood that “The Royals” laid siege to The Lost’s compound opposite the Downtown Cab Company taxi depot several days ago. My source insisted that I should not claim that members of The Lost were left “cowering and fearing” whilst barricaded inside their clubhouse, but I have been unable to independently verify that part of the story. Whilst it is known that there is longstanding bad blood between these two groups, doubt has been cast on the nature of their disagreements.
Being far too in-demand to personally follow-up on any aspect of this story or interview anybody involved (and there never being anybody manning the desk at Mission Row Police Department), I am fully reliant on my incredibly trusted and upstanding source who tells me in no uncertain terms that The Royals are entirely the guilty party on all fronts on account of being an alleged criminal organisation – unlike The Lost, who are well known for being purely a group of motorcycle enthusiasts.
It is the duty of journalists such as myself to keep the public abreast of further developments which may spill out on to the streets of our otherwise fair and peaceful city, and so I will be monitoring the situation closely – a duty for which my source may well give his (or her) seal of approval.
