The Commisioner of the LSPD called for a press junket on the 2nd of August to discuss the case involving Oliver Patterson being Taken hostage by an unknown gang. It was said that the reason for the mayors kidnapping was to trade his life for one of the gang members freedom who were recently arrested after shooting up Club Scarlet earlier that day.
Patterson was minding his own business preparing to be signed in as mayor of the city when all of a sudden 3 masked suspects pulled out weapons and pointed them at patterson and his colleges demanding Him to get into the car they arrived in. Once inside the vehicle Patterson was ordered to call the commissioner and let him know that he has been taken hostage and will be traded for one Abigail Williams‘ freedom. Commissioner Hunter said to the press: “Of course the mayor elect being our highest priority at the time, we arranged to make this swap”.
The Trade off was to take place outside Davis PD and the commissioner had set up swat to be on stand-by half a mile away to get ready incase the trade went sideways. The Suspects arrived in a 4-door vehicle demanded the release of their friend for the Mayor. “The trade was actually quite easy” says the Commisioner. Saying Both Patterson and Williams both walked to the centre between the vehicles and the criminal ran into the gangs car while the Mayor Elect stayed with the commissioner. Once inside the vehicle the Gang sped off and was persude by the police all across the city for around 15 minutes ending with 2 of the suspects getting arrested and the other suspects escaped.
The 2 suspects who were arrested have been revealed as Abigail Williams (the person who was traded in the first place) and the other known as Renne Bright Both of them were processed and sentenced while the other 2 suspects are still unknown at this time and are currently still at large. When asked about the whole situtation Mr Patterson said “It was a very harrowing experience” and followed with “But Mayor Patterson is made of stronger stuff” refering to himself in the 3rd person.
The police has asked the public to share any information they may have about the 2 suspects who got away and call 911 immediately if you see either one.
