This evening, on the 12th October 2024, the court case for Mr Juan Wick began. The accusation is that Mr Juan Wick murdered Skol Himmelsk in a revenge killing, after Skoll stabbed Vanessa McCallister at the summit of Mt Chiliad. Opening statements began by the prosecution, Benoit Leghorn – naming it being a case about ‘cults’ and ‘vigilantes’ due to the situation in which Vanessa was attacked by Skol (discussions about sacrifices and being reborn).
The defence, Anna Turney, began their opening statement by discussing Mr Juan’s popularity and the fact that most people had likely been served at the Kebab house by him. Defending by advising he’s a lonely and sad man, which Mr Wick takes offence to.
From there-on out, Mr Leghorn provides multiple pieces of evidence against Mr Wick – which his attorney was unable to refute. No witnesses were able to be offered to support the defence and an adjournment was therefore called before getting Mr Wick to the stand himself.
During the adjournment, a gunshot was heard from inside the courthouse and murmurs of Chief Justice Henry Wisechap being shot. As everyone present at the case ran outside, it was clear that Wisechap was in a dire state of affairs, with the Mayor, Bryn Jones attempting life saving CPR. However, unfortunately he was pronounced dead at the scene and police demanded that everyone gain shelter inside for fear of an active sniper.
Due to the events of the evening, it was announced that the case would be postponed until able to find a new judge to step in and take over. Mr Juan Wick walked free tonight for a while longer. I met up to gain his statement on the record of how he was feeling after tonight’s events:
“Well, the first half of the court case did not go very well at all. Judging by the prosecution’s evidence I think it’s going to be very hard for a new lawyer that I have to find – to defend that. We’ll hope for the best and prepare for the worst”
On the death of Chief Justice Henry Wisechap:
“I would like to go on record to say I had nothing to with that at all. My thoughts are going out to Thatcher at this time.”
Whilst I was with Mr Wick, his lawyer, Anna Turney was also shot. Mr Wick provided his statement on this:
“I’m a bit disappointed because this has made my case even harder but again, I’d like to announce I had nothing to do with this at all”
After heading back to City Hall, I spoke with Mayor Bryn Jones who advised the following statement:
“I want the people to know that Henry has been assassinated. Chief Justice Henry Wisechap has been assassinated at City Hall, along with beloved attorney, Anna Turney.
This is a sad day for Los Santos, but our police force will investigate and they will apprehend the shooter. The court case of Mr Juan Wick has been adjourned and everyone else is safe.
Both Henry and Anna are in my thoughts and in the words of the late Henry Wisechap, keep your chin up.”
A dispersal order has been put in place for City Hall by the Mayor at this time, and the police are working diligently to find to find out what has happened here.
I will continue to stay in touch with the LSPD for updates on this matter.
